Chopper Twirls Out of Control into Palm Trees at Frequented California Beach
A chopper soaring near a popular California beach abruptly began spiraling uncontrollably, eventually losing altitude and plunging into a row of palm fronds as beachgoers observed.
Recordings uploaded on the internet capture the aircraft commencing to spiral near the beach then falling towards the border of the shore, where it becomes wedged between palm trees and a set of stairs close to the shoreline route.
First Aid Information
Local firefighters stated five individuals were rushed to the hospital including a pair who were in the chopper and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the incident on that day.
Three people on the road were harmed. Details on their condition were still under review.

Authorities said the aircraft was associated with an annual “Cars and Copters” fundraising event planned for Sunday.
